It was windy and the first of Hurricane Sandy’s sprinkles filled the air, but that couldn’t stop ghosts, goblins and yes, a few angels, from gathering Sunday afternoon for the traditional Riverview Improvement Association Halloween parade that culminated with hot dogs, great homemade delights and hayrides. Leading the gang, dressed as a pirate, was Rep. Frank Ferri. Mayor Scott Avedisian was there, too, out of his suit and tie uniform. He was dressed in jeans and a sweater and recognizable nonetheless.
