Regina M. O’Hara, 98, formerly of Warwick, passed from this world to the next on May 10, 2013 in Saco, Maine. She was the wife of the late F. J. O’Hara.

Regina was born in New Haven, Connecticut and was the daughter of the late Geoffrey F. and Sarah Reynolds Morrissey. “Queenie”, as she was called by her many friends, was known for her sense of humor, her sharp wit and her amazingly positive outlook on life. Her greatest pleasures were spending time with family and friends, singing the old standards and enjoying a well-made vodka martini with a Maine lobster roll.

Regina’s sole survivor is her much loved daughter, M. Patrice O’Hara and her partner Maria Marzilli-Tripp of Buxton, Maine. She was the mother of Thomas R. O’Hara who predeceased her. Mrs. O’Hara was the beloved mother- in- law of the late Mary Ann Kwolek. All of Regina’s brothers and sisters predeceased her, including the late Rev. Philip T. Morrissey, Rev. Francis S. Morrissey, Geoffrey B. Morrissey, Sister M. Chrysostom Morrissey, S.S.J., and the late Mary G. Morrissey.

Patrice would like to acknowledge the exceptional care given her mom by the staff and care-givers of Atria Harbor Hills Assisted Living in East Greenwich, RI and Seal Rock Heath Care Facility in Saco, Maine.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick.
