Richard A. Anderson of Melbourne Beach, Florida died at his home in Melbourne Beach on January 26, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Marguerite M. (Gibb) Anderson.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Roy and Ethel (Granger) Anderson and a graduate of Pawtucket West High School, class of 1959. Mr. Anderson was employed by National Grid for 35 years, retiring in 2002. Prior to moving to Florida nine years ago, he resided in Warwick and Narragansett.
Besides his wife, he leaves his devoted children, Gregory A. Anderson of East Greenwich, Paul M. Anderson of Florida and Brian R. Anderson of Warwick; his cherished grandchildren: Jacqueline, Kevin, Kyle and Sean. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Anderson.
A memorial mass, celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Edward J. Wilson, Jr. was held on Saturday, September 6 2014 in St. Clement Church, Warwick.
