Richard A. Arnold, 64, passed away Friday, July 1,2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Florent and Jeannine (Landry) Arnold. Richard earned his Associate’s Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island. He was an Air Force veteran, and served during the Vietnam War at Loring Air Force Base in Maine, from 1970-1974. Richard was formerly employed by Rhode Island Hospital Trust Bank as Branch Automation Training Instructor and Loan Operations Supervisor; as well as, Stop & Shop, where he worked as an Operations Manager, General Merchandise Sales.

Richard was the loving father of Alexandra Curran and her husband, Justin, and Alicia Arnold; devoted grandfather of Cole, James, and Caroline; caring brother of Linda Richard, Janet Arnold, and James Arnold. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation was held Saturday, July 7, from 9am-11am, with a service following at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial was in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Information and condolences, please visit QuinnFuneralHome.com
