Rita McCall, 90, of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and friends. She was the wife of the late Gerald A. McCall, the love of her life.

Rita was born in Cranston, RI and grew up in Providence, RI. She was the daughter of the late Leo A. Beliveau & Monica(Haley) A. Beliveau. Living most of her life in Warwick, RI, she was a homemaker, where she raised her family. Rita was a graduate of Hope High School. She later went on to work for the Narragansett Electric Co., where she met her future husband "Buck", who was working for N.E.T.&T. Co., and they would be married for 58 years. To watch Rita & Buck on the dance floor was magical. She like her late husband was an avid golfer. If she was not playing golf, then she was watching golf on TV. She also enjoyed bowling and gardening, and putting jigsaw puzzles together. Rita did volunteer work at Kent Hospital for many years. Rita & Buck were communicants of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Warwick, RI, for over 50 years.

She leaves behind her four children: Patricia A. Young (John), of Lady Lake, FL; Gerald A. McCall (Gayle), of Orange, CA; Daniel J. McCall of Lady Lake, FL; and Timothy E. McCall of Lady Lake, FL. Rita was the grandmother of Katharine H. McCall, Brian P. McCall, and Colin A. McCall. Her siblings were the late Catherine V. Hopkins, and Irene O. Rooney. She leaves a brother, Leo A. Beliveau Jr., of Warwick, RI, and a brother-in-law, John T. Rooney of Warwick, RI.

Services will be held at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society of Lady Lake. Burial will be at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a worthy charity of your choice in Rita's name.
