Robert E. Lacoursiere, Sr., 84, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015, at home. He was the husband of the late Irene C. (Corbin) Lacoursiere and Kathleen (Hall) Lacoursiere.
He was a son of the late Ernest A. and Yvonne (Bergeson) Lacoursiere. He was a retired auto parts manager.
Robert was the beloved father of Robert E., Jr., James J., Ernest A., Laurie E., Patricia A. Lacoursiere, Sheila A. Greenhalgh, Linda St. Jean, and the late Carolyn Harding. Brother of Jeanette Amaral and the late Pauline Beliveau and Ferdinand Lacoursiere. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.
His funeral will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
