Robert L. Townsend, 80, of Warwick, RI crossed to the great lake beyond on June 25, 2016.
A native of Port Jefferson, NY, Bob spent most of his life in Warwick. While having several careers, he found his greatest strength in the lace trade and loved working in the industry. In his spare time, Bob loved fishing and spending his long summer days on his boat on Lake Winnipesaukee.
He was a proud family man and leaves behind his wife of sixty years, Joyce, in addition to his daughters Patricia and Debra. Bob was proud to see his three grandchildren, Robert, Brielle, and Devin achieve remarkable things with their lives.
Services and Burial will be private.
