Roberta M. (Brooks) Bathgate, 79, an office manager for General Electric for 27 years before retiring passed away Monday, May 26, at home. She was the wife of the late John E. Bathgate.
She was a daughter of the late Robert and Harriet (Boss) Brooks. Mrs. Bathgate was a member of the Red Hat Society and was devoted to her family.
She was the mother of Stephen and Ronald Bathgate, Doreen Paola, Andrew and the late John Bathgate; sister of Joyce Anastos, Lori Brooks, Kenneth, Richard, David and the late Donald Brooks; grandmother of seven; and great-grandmother of three. She was the grandmother of the late Rachael Paola.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 30, at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 p.m.
