Ronald Joseph Dolloff, formerly of Franklin, died Thursday May 21, 2015 at his home in Medway surrounded by his loving family. He was 82

A Medway resident for over 45 years, he was born in Cumberland, RI and was the son of the late Roger Joseph and Lillian (Woodward) Dolloff. Ron was raised and educated through the Franklin Public Schools graduating with the class of 1950. After high school, Ron enlisted in the United States Army and served as a PFC during the Korean War.

Ron was the President of Back Yard Gardens for over 25 years from which he retired in 2006. He was a member and Past Master of the Charles River Lodge, AF & AM of West Medway, the Scottish Rite, Valley of Boston, Aleppo Shrine of Wilmington, and Past President of the Medfield Acacia Club. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 367, Medway, the Medway Business Council and was Past Patron of Quinobequin Chapter #67, Order of Eastern Star, Medway.

Ronald was the loving husband of 54 years to E. Patricia (Turner) Dolloff; and cherished father of Carolyn P. Taylor and her husband, Michael of Warwick, RI and Ronald J. Dolloff Jr., of Uxbridge. He is also survived by grandchildren Benjamin Taylor and Dennis Hobert.

Funeral Services were Tuesday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the Roberts Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Miller St, Medfield, followed by burial with full Military Honors at Evergreen Cemetery, Cottage St., Medway. Visitation was Monday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Funeral Home with Masonic Services conducted at 6:15 p.m.
