Ronald K. “Ronnie” McDermott, 68, passed away December 31, 2012 at Kent Hospital.

He was the son of the late Charles J. Sr. and Emily (Sarah) McDermott. He was a retired head custodian for the Warwick School Department. Ronnie was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Warwick Council.

He was the beloved husband of Marie M. (D’Ambra) McDermott; father of Rhonda M. Forte; grandfather of Stephen J. Forte; uncle of James, Charles and Henry McDermott. He was the brother of the late Charles J. McDermott, Jr.

His funeral will be held Saturday, January 5 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m.
