Russell V. Howard, 93, of Warwick passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Stacia (Czapla) Howard, Russell and Stacia had been married for 61 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Samuel and Alice (Wicklund) Howard. He was the brother of the late Herbert Howard. He was the former owner of Peoples Storage Warehouse and Anchor Realty Company. Russell served in The United States Navy during World War II in the Mediterranean as well as The Pacific aboard The USS Cotoctin. He was a member of The East Greenwich Yacht Club and a life member of The Shriners. He was an avid Red Sox fan. He will be missed by all.

He was the beloved father of Mark R. Howard of Warwick and Diane C. Sullivan and her husband, Dr. William Sullivan of East Greenwich. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Julie A. Boutwell and her husband, Patrick of Warwick, Mark R. Howard, Jr. of Providence and Adam J. Sullivan and his wife, Nicole of Exeter. He also leaves one great-grandchild, Henry O. Boutwell.
