Warwick Republicans met recently to elect new officers. Mayor Scott Avedisian was on hand to thank former GOP Chairmen Mike Penta (left), who served as chairman before resigning to run for state representative, and Mark Gabriele, who filled in for the rest of his term. Anthony Corrente, a long-time member of the Warwick Republican City Committee, was elected chairman at the recent biennial re-organizational meeting. Rick Cascella, who ran for City Council in Ward 1, was elected first vice chairman, and former chairman and state representative candidate Penta was elected as second vice chairman. Nancy Watson continues to serve as secretary and Michael Feiler was elected as the treasurer. (Submitted photos)
