Hunter Gallant of South Kingstown, a graduating senior at Rocky Hill School, has been named candidate in the 2017 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Hunter was one of more than 4,000 selected candidates from nearly 3.5 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in 2017. “The entire Rocky Hill School community celebrates this recognition of one of our exceptional members of the Class of 2017,” said Dr. James Tracy, Head of School. “Hunter, who came to Rocky Hill School because he wanted to be challenged academically, has embraced every opportunity presented to him and has flourished during his years here. He is an accomplished musician, athlete, school leader, and academic who passionately values his education. We are proud to have participated in Hunter’s journey of self-discovery as he pursued his many passions and interests with the support of his faculty and family.”
