(Very funny claymation movie)

Fans of “Wallace and Gromit” and “Chicken Run” (Who isn’t?) will love this very funny claymation comedy about a bunch of sheep who wander from the farm to find their farmer who they mistakenly and haphazardly have sent off to the Big City. The movie flies by in under an hour and a half with no dialogue, but lots of sound effects.

When Shaun the Sheep decides that they should have a day off like everybody else, a series of hysterical events sends their farmer to the Big City, with the sheep trying to rescue him, only to find that he has fallen into a new career as a hairstylist.

Sound silly? It is. But it works, and you’ll go along with it, laughing until it hurts along the way. To add to the fun, there’s a nasty “animal containment officer” out to get them. This is one of those rare films that will please children and adults alike.

Rated PG. They always have to add some bathroom humor.
