St. Gregory the Great Parish in Warwick continues its Adult Faith Formation series Tuesday, Feb. 23 in the church hall with “The Sacraments Explained.” The session will be held from 7 to 8 p.m.
Led by Brian Dutra, a St. Greg’s parishioner who has taught religious formation classes and is active in RCIA, this topic focuses on the Seven Sacraments as signs of grace and instituted by Christ to be the foundation of every Christian life. The group will examine the liturgical life of the Church as it revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and sacraments. The biblical and historical development will be discussed with an explanation of how the sacraments elevate our relationship with family, community and God while bringing everlasting life.
This is the third of four sessions that takes a closer look at all aspects of the Church and more fully explore the Catholic faith. To register for this session or for more information, please contact St. Gregory the Great Church Parish Office at 884-1666.
