Hey, santa!
Santa pics at Pic’s
FIRST CHRISTMAS: Seven-month-old Dilan Murray celebrated his first Christmas this year. He attended the party with his mother, Linda Bogoian.

More than 50 children attended a free holiday party for kids Dec. 22 at Picasso’s Pizza & Pub, with many of the children snacking on pizza and sitting on Santa’s lap. They happily posed for pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, which were taken by Danielle Finn of Danielle Finn Photography. Mrs. Claus asked children what they wanted for Christmas, as well as what some of their favorite holiday traditions are. For Cheyenne Kelly, 14, an eighth grader at Gorton Junior High, spending time with loved ones was at the top of her list, as was helping her family decorate their Christmas tree. Her brothers, Raymond, 8, Brayden, 4, and Jaxson, 2, agreed, as did Ryan Gibb, 6, who said his Mickey Mouse ornaments are his favorites. Nathan Oscarson, 4, said he had fun stringing lights on his tree with his mom and dad. Nathan, who attends Totally Kids Child Care Center with his friend, Chase DeGregorio, who also attended the party and is seen here with Santa, said the best thing about Christmas is giving gifts. The event featured a craft table, where children created festive framed magnets for their Santa photos, plus as face painting, and other activities. Picasso’s is grateful to local businesses that made raffle donations, including Don Rodrigues Karate Academy, New England Boat Movers, Chill Out Loud Frozen Yogurt, Sunnyside Restaurant and Karen’s Kreations. All funds generated from the raffle benefited Adopt-a-Family. (Warwick Beacon photos by Jessica A. Botelho)
