Warwick Police have confirmed reports of shots fired in the Pawtuxet area of the city early Monday morning but are offering few details of the incident as of yesterday.
“Yes, we have confirmed that several shots were fired,” said Lt. Rick Rathbun yesterday. “But that’s about all I can say. I can tell you that no one was injured and no one was arrested.”
Rathbun said Warwick detectives are looking into the incident and have so far not published any conclusion as to what happened or who was involved. He said more details should be forthcoming later.
