Sinapi Law wins third straight

Sinapi Law posted a win over Warwick National 11-5 for its third victory in a row. Matthew Henry pitched five good innings with Sothea Ang Minh closing out the sixth. Both Ang Minh and Tyler Parks had home runs. Darius Frey had a great game behind the plate, throwing out one runner to shut down a late inning rally. Aiden Pacheco and Devin Destefano led the defense.

Langevin’s 2, Brennan’s Braces 1

In a battle of two of the top teams in the interleague standings, Langevin’s handed Brennan’s Braces its first loss of the season. Sean Gallagher drove in Chase Pariseau in the bottom of the fourth to give Langevin’s the early lead. Brennan’s Colin Lemieux drove in Andrew Merrifield in the fourth to deadlock the game at 1-1. In the bottom of the fourth, Langevin’s Cullen McGrew drew a two-out walk and proceeded to steal second and third. McGrew then scored the winning run by stealing home. Demitri Ayers and Tyler Brunelle had solid pitching performances for Brennan’s Braces. Aaron Rastella and Domenic Brazeau were successful in keeping the Brennan’s hitters in check as well. Kenny Rix made several strong defensive plays during the last two innings of play that thwarted Brennan’s scoring threats.

Langevin’s 11, Sheridan Electric 10

In a Monday night slugfest, Langevin’s held on to defeat Sheridan Electric 11-10. The Langevin hitting attack was led by Aaron Rastella, who went 3-for-3 with a double. Benji Moorby and Chase Pariseau had two hits each and Kenny Rix had a bases-loaded single that scored two runs. Sheridan Electric had several players with multiple hits, including a two-run home run by Madison Jackson. Jacob Paul, Nathan Miller and Aiden Cahill all had two hits for the Sheridan team. Will Walaska was 1-for-1 with two walks. The win improved Langevin’s to 8-1. The loss drops Sheridan to 5-2.  

Brennan’s Braces 5,

Savage & Savage 4

Demitri Ayers and Tyler Brunelle pitched for Brennan’s in a close victory over Savage & Savage. Both teams played good defense with run-saving catches by Brunelle and Frankie Halliwell. The winning hit was by Tyler Picozzi Yates with a double in the fifth inning, scoring Collin Lemieux. Dylan Palumbo and Stephan O’Niel pitched for Savage & Savage.

DeGiulio Insurance 12, Leo Tire 6

In a battle of West Side rivals, DeGiulio rode a nine-hit attack to a win over Leo Tire. Jake White went 2-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored to lead the attack. Anthony Blade went 2-for-3 with an RBI and also pitched three solid innings.
