Westbay Children Center recently took part in “Pinwheels for Prevention,” the signature campaign of Prevent Child Abuse America and its state chapters. Why pinwheels? According to Westbay Children’s Center Business Manager MaLiza Crudele, pinwheels are a happy and uplifting symbol of the bright future every child deserves. “Our teachers and children were proud to contribute toward this awareness campaign by making pinwheels and personalizing them with their own design. We’ve planted them in our front yard to catch the “winds of awareness” and celebrate the wonder of childhood.”
