Address: 1350B Bald Hill Road
Barnes & Noble Warwick is pleased to partner with Station Ink to display a selection of photos from the Station Ink project at their Warwick store located at 1350 Bald Hill Rd, Warwick. Station Ink is a photographic tribute of memorial tattoos in honor of the 100 victims and survivors of The Station Night Club Fire on February 20, 2003. The concept for Station Ink was created and developed by Paula McLaughlin, whose brother Michael Hoogasian and sister in law Sandy were lost in the Station fire. McLaughlin and photographer John Pitocco captured the emotions and stories of over sixty individuals and the images of the tattoos made in memory of the fire, victims and survivors. Selections from this project will be on display for the month of May at Barnes & Noble located at 1350 Bald Hill Road, Warwick. In conjunction with the Station Ink display, on May 7th from 6-7:30pm, Gina Russo, author of From the Ashes, Surviving the Station Nightclub Fire, and John Barylick, author of Killer Show: The Station Nightclub Fire, America's Deadliest Rock Concert will be conducting a book signing. Appearances by Russo and Barylick are part of the Station Ink and Station Fire Memorial Foundation Bookfair being held that day at Barnes & Noble. Proceeds from this bookfair will be donated to the Station Fire Memorial Foundation.
