(Mindless Action)

Ed Skrein has replaced Jason Statham as “The Transporter,” looking more like an accountant than a tough guy.

Don’t let his suave demeanor fool you. He can still wipe out at least six tough guys at a time, drive like an Indy race car driver, woo the women, and survive bullets, car crashes, and runaway airplanes.

This mindless action film has him transporting three blonde-wigged former prostitutes seeking serious revenge on their pimp.

The transporter has some serious conflicts with his father (Ray Stevenson), who is dragged into the fight when he is kidnapped by the prostitutes to ensure his son’s cooperation. After the characters agree to work together, poor dad is then kidnapped by the bad guys.

There are loads of car chases and crashes, plus an exciting scene involving an airplane, but there are also too many endless, repetitive fist and gun fights.

Good, bad, and innocent people get killed along the way, as the ladies, led by Anna (Loan Chabanol), seek revenge and get it.

Not the best of the genre, but there are some fabulous scenes of the French Riviera.

Rated PG-13, with profanity, violence, drugs, and sexual references.
