Pumpkins all the way from a reservation in New Mexico have once again brought a seasonal flair to the front lawn of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on West Shore Road near Hoxsie Four Corners. The pumpkins range in price from the smallest at 25 cents to $30, with 15 percent of the proceeds going to Crossroads Rhode Island and the rest to supporting the parish. Pumpkins are sold Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Among the first to pick out her pumpkin Sunday after the display was set up was Brittany Whittamore, who was accompanied by her dog, Jimmy. Mayor Scott Avedisian visited the display Monday morning and was joined by rector, the Rev. Susan Wrathall. (Warwick Beacon photos)
