To expand training program

Posted

Verizon Wireless, a company committed to the prevention of domestic violence by supporting survivors and increasing awareness of this issue through its HopeLine phone recycling program, recently presented a $10,000 contribution to the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence (RICADV) of Warwick. The grant from the Verizon Foundation will help RICADV expand both its statewide training program and the “Ten Men Project” to help engage males in the prevention of domestic violence and awareness of RICADV’s work. Pictured from left are Deborah DeBare, executive director of RICADV, Dave Evans, general manager for Verizon Wireless, and Michael Murphy for Verizon Wireless.
