MOLLY TURNER

The Toll Gate girls’ swimming team dropped its final regular season meet on Thursday, 52-41 to Portsmouth at McDermott Pool.

There were some bright spots for the Titans in the loss, as Nina Yu won the 100 freestyle, Mikayla Rogers won the 100 butterfly and the 500 freestyle and the team of Rogers, Rachel Yorston, Mattie Hayes and Molly Turner took first in the 400 free relay.

Portsmouth picked up its first win of the year and improved to 1-7, while Toll Gate fell to 0-8.

Next up for the Titans is the Division II Class Meet, which will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Roger Williams University.
