Training nears completion

Warwick’s 24 fire recruits began their live burns this week, the 15th of their 18 training weeks. Instructors bring them through live fire scenarios in their training facility that’s set up as a two-story structure with fire on both floors. They’ll have multiple teams in place during their 20-minute scenarios. Some will cut the roof open to release the flames and smoke, others will operate ladders, and some will remove a “victim.” Safety teams are on hand to take care of issues as the recruits run through their six scenarios a day. On Friday, they’ll go to the Rhode Island Fire Academy to take their practical burn exam. (Warwick Beacon photos)

After this, the next training session is taking Engine 3 to Dave's to buy 3 slices of ham, 2 slices of cheese, and 1 bulky roll. Precisely at 9:30 every day.

Maybe The Captain can train them on following people around and video recording them.
