(Dumb road trip movie)
Vince Vaughn does his usual shtick in this dumb road trip movie about three businessmen trying to land a big contract.
Dan (Vaughn) starts a company selling swarl (Something to do with metals), hiring the elderly, over-the-hill Timothy (Tom Wilkinson) and the very young, very slow Mike (Dave Franco), who travel to Maine and on to Berlin to compete against a sexy rival for a big business deal.
The plot quickly turns into a road movie, with a series of vignettes, as the three stooges adjust to the cultural differences. Some of the scenes are funny, but most are dumb and vulgar. Very vulgar.
There’s a disgusting scene in the men’s room of a gay bar, a ridiculous scene in a youth hostel, and opportunities for Wilkinson to make a fool of himselh and Vaughn to pout a lot.
Will the trio be able to overcome the sexy rival and win the contract? Will the old guy satisfy his sexual fantasies? Will the young guy lose his virginity?
Who cares?
The best parts of the movie are the scenes of Germany.
Rated R for profanity, nudity and sexual perversion
