The Pilgrim unified volleyball team got together for a match with East Greenwich on Wednesday afternoon, and ended up with a 3-0 defeat.
The Avengers won the three games 25-11, 25-23 and 25-15 to capture the victory. They improved to 5-0 on the season, while Pilgrim dropped to 2-3. The Pats will be back in action on Wednesday at home against North Kingstown at 3:30 p.m. before finishing out the regular season at Hendricken on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The postseason begins the following week.
