The Warwick Vets boys’ hockey team will play its final regular season home game at Thayer Arena against Mt. Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night.
And the ’Canes are planning to go out with a bang.
In addition to holding senior night festivities, Vets is also welcoming all hockey alumni to bring their skates and come on the ice for a ceremony at 5:15 p.m., as former ’Canes’ players will be able to skate around prior to game time.
A small dedication to the rink will also be made by the Vets’ hockey family, and the popular game chuck-a-puck will also take place.
The senior night ceremonies are set to begin at 5:45 p.m., with many past and present players honoring the leaders of the final team at Vets.
For more information regarding the pre-game festivities, visit the Warwick Veterans Alumni Hockey Facebook page.
