Vigil planned for 2 Pilgrim students killed in crash

A candlelight vigil has been planned for the two Pilgrim students killed in a car crash late Wednesday evening.

Senior Gabriella DiPalma, 17, and junior Elanna Zuller, 16, will be remembered at the vigil on Saturday, September 3 at 8 p.m. at the Pilgrim High School soccer field.

According to reports, the two Pilgrim soccer players were returning home from a visit to Mercy Brown's grave in Exeter when their car rolled over at 9:30 p.m. on Purgatory Road. Neither girl was wearing a seat belt.

Two other passengers, who were wearing seat belts, sustained minor injuries.
