Virginia M. (Headley) Hewitt, age 91, of Warwick, died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Kent Regency in Warwick. She was the wife of the late William J. Hewitt.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John Headley and Vena I. (St. Onge) Headley Bishop, and the step-daughter of the late Charles B. Bishop, she was a life-long Warwick resident. She was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Mrs. Hewitt was employed in data processing at Hospital Trust Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She earlier worked in data processing at Coro Manufacturing.

She is survived by a son, William C. Hewitt and his wife, Kathy of Cranston; a daughter, Carol A. Coleman and her husband, Bob of North Kingstown; two granddaughters, Kristine and Jennifer Leroux; and a brother, John “Jack” Headley of The Villages, Florida.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, June 5, at 11 a.m. in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, 100 Harrison Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours are omitted.
