Coastway 0

Brennan’s Braces scored five runs in the first inning and would later add seven more runs to defeat Coastway, 12 - 0. Aaron Narcavage led off the game with a triple and scored on a Domenic Brazeau double. Chase Pariseau followed with a single – his first of three on the night. A line drive single by Kenny Rix drove in Brazeau and Pariseau to increase Brennan’s lead to three. After a Rix steal, DJ Sollitto drove in Rix with the game’s fourth run on a single of his own. Brennan’s scored its fifth run after a Sollitto stolen base and an RBI single from Jeriel Garcia. Noah Sullivan and Chris Smith also had hits for Brennan’s.

Brennan pitchers Chase Pariseau and Rix combined to pitch a one-hit shutout, while striking out nine batters.

Mike Borges had a base hit single for Coastway.

Savage & Savage 12,

Donelan’s 1

Thane Denton went 3-for-3 with two singles, one double and two RBI for Savage in the win.

Stephen Souilliere went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored, while Will Morisette went 2-for-2 at the dish with two runs scored. Morisette also threw 5.2 innings, striking out six and allowing just one run.

Coastway 5,

Savage & Savage 2

Michael Borges pitched four solid innings, giving up one run, while Dante Wilding came on in relief to earn the save for Coastway.

Coastway’s runs were scored by Colby Barker, Brendan McCaffrey, Connor Hausman, Thomas Sullivan and Madison Gunderway.

Thane Denton and Anthony Blade pitched well for Savage & Savage. Dan Riccio and Brian Denton led Savage offensively, as each registered a double.

Brennan’s Braces used a fifteen hit attack in a recent victory over Leo’s Tire. Kenny Rix led Brennan’s with three hits, one of which was an RBI double. Chase Pariseau had two hits – a double and a triple which also plated runs. Domenic Brazeau (two doubles), Joey Izzi, Bobby Court and Jeriel Garcia all had two hits for Brennan’s. Brennan’s strong pitching also contributed to the victory. Brennan’s received solid performances from Noah Sullivan: three Innings, five strikeouts and two hits. Izzi pitched three innings of no-hit ball, while striking out seven.

Leo’s Colin Lemieux walked and stole three bases to plate Leo’s run. Gary Dombeck and Travis Reese had hits for Leo’s.

Leo’s Tire    9,                               

Donelan’s    0

Leo’s Tire received a dominant pitching performance from Colin Lemieux to defeat Donelan’s. Lemieux pitched a complete game, one-hit shutout and struck out 16 batters. This game began as a pitcher’s duel, as the game was scoreless heading into the fourth inning. Jalen Dennis pitched three scoreless innings for Donelan’s to start the game and gave up one run in the fourth. Dennis struck out seven batters in a solid outing. Leo’s Dylan Raddock broke open a close game in the fifth inning with a three-run double. Travis Reese continued to produce strong hitting from his leadoff spot, and Tyler Picozzi Yates scored two runs and reached base three times for Leo’s. Sean Gallagher had Donelan’s lone hit on the night.

Brennan’s Braces    4,

Pitching dominated the recent regular season game between Brennan’s Braces and Degiulio Insurance. Degiulio’s Jared Reminder pitched five strong innings, while giving up one run and striking out 10 batters. Brennan’s Domenic Brazeau was solid, pitching five innings of one-run ball, while striking out eight.  

Degiulio Insurance scored the game’s first run in the top of the fifth inning. Kadin McGirr led off the inning with a single and advanced to third on an infield error and walk. McGirr scored when JJ Tourgee hit a hard ground ball to the pitcher and an errant throw to home plated the game’s first run.

Brennan’s Braces tied the game in the bottom of the fifth inning. Joey Izzi led off the inning with a single. Noah Sullivan moved Izzi to second on a sacrifice bunt. Izzi then stole third with two outs, and DJ Sollitto plated Izzi with an RBI single.  

With the game tied at 1 going into the 6th, Degiulio’s Jared Reminder (1-for-1 with a single and two walks) reached base on his second walk of the night. Reminder then proceeded to steal second. Reminder advanced to third when the attempt to throw him out sailed into the outfield. With Reminder on third, Degiulio’s Jacob Longton hit a single to put Degiulio’s ahead, 2-1. Degiulio’s Longton would plate the team’s third run of the game on a dropped ball, third strike.

Brennan’s scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth. Key contributors were: Aaron Narcavage, who started the comeback with a double. Dom Brazeau, who drove in Narcavage with a single. Joey Izzi, who drove in the tying run and Kenny Rix, who stole home for the game-winning run.
