The Warwick North 9/10-year-old softball All-Stars fell in the state championship game to Cranston National-Budlong, 17-3, on Friday night at Diamond Hill Field in Cumberland.
The team made it to the title game after winning the District 3 championship and working its way out of the losers’ bracket in the state tournament.
The roster was comprised of Jenna Altieri, Amelia Murphy, Sydney Suffoletto, Vinessa Perenti, Ryleigh Ruddock, Sophia Stogner, Alayna Medina, Olivia Bordeleau, Lily Dewar, Rachael Sayler, Anjle Williams, Kiara Scanlon and Michelle Maron.
The manager of the team was Bobby Jencks, and he was assisted by John Altieri, Alicia Bordeleau and Mike Bordeleau. (Beacon photos by Matt Metcalf)
