Warwick students have roles in Bay View Academy’s Manhattan at the Bay

Seven Warwick students have roles in St. Mary Academy Bay View’s 33rd annual celebration of Manhattan at the Bay, a weekend of events dedicated to an original musical revue starting tonight. This production is open to the public with tickets costing $15. Students in the performing arts department will put on a show celebrating great musicals from the golden era of movies. The 2016 Manhattan at the Bay original production is called “Lets Go to the Movies” with performances ranging from scenes from Singin’ in the Rain to Fame.

Friday the 29th is called “Family Night,” where dinner will be served by Rosalina, an Italian restaurant in Providence from 5:30-7:30 p.m. It is a pre-show dinner event for all ages, with kid-friendly activities. Tickets are $15 per person and must be purchased online in advance.

In addition to these activities and the show, Bay View is also offering the chance for you to win a one-week vacation at a private cottage in Oughterard, Ireland. The cottage holds up to eight people. Included in this vacation is $1,000 cash. Only 500 tickets will be sold and the winner does not be at the drawing to take receive their prize. Warwick students participating in the celebration are Isabella Colapietro, Emily Fielding, Camryn Raposo, Emma Mariano, Emily Smith, Natalie Turner and Samantha Wynne.
