Residents are reminded that weekly curbside collection of yard waste began the week of March 24 and will continue on a weekly basis until the first week of October, after which collection switches to a bi-weekly schedule.
Yard waste is collected on the same day as one’s trash and recycling collection. Grass, leaves and garden debris must be placed in 30-gallon biodegradable paper yard waste bags or in 32-gallon or smaller barrels. Branches must be tied in bundles four feet in length and placed next to bags or barrels. Branch bundles should be no larger than eight inches in diameter.
The compost facility is also now open to Warwick residents Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
