Tom Sweeney (left) and Dan Scanlon Jr. will face off as guest bartenders Oct. 29 at Ninety Nine Restaurant, 1171 New London Ave., Cranston, for the benefit of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Warwick. Whichever of the two raises the most in tips for the club will get to throw a pie in the face of the other. In addition, 15 percent of dinner proceeds for those using vouchers will go to the club. But it doesn’t end there, says the club’s executive director, Lara D’Antuono. She said more shenanigans are in the works, which will only add to the friendly rivalry between the two, who both serve on the club’s board of directors. “Dining for a cause” will run from 5 to 10 p.m. Vouchers are available at the club’s website.
