The Wickford Art Association (WAA) is presenting its annual photography show. This popular show celebrates photography including film, digital, cyanotype and large format. The open juried show with cash prizes runs from October 29 to November 20. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Call for Art is on Wednesday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Photographers may refer to the association website for submission guidelines and fees. Show registration is open to WAA members and non-members.
Lindsay Elgin, teacher of photography at Rhode Island School of Design and a photographer at the Brown University Library,
digitizing rare books, materials and objects from Brown's extensive Special Collections, will be the juror.
The Photography Show opening reception is Sunday, October 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. at 36 Beach Street, North Kingstown.
