Amy B. Madden, 39, died Saturday, February 27, 2016.
A resident of Warwick for most of her life, she was the beloved daughter of Eileen A. (Madden) Dowding and step-daughter of William Dowding. Amy had been formerly employed as a dispatcher with the Warwick Police Dept. and had previously worked as a dispatcher for the Waterbury Police Dept. She was very active with the Apponaug and PAL Little Leagues in Warwick and loved the Patriots and camping.
She was also the devoted mother of Nicholas Edward Zabawar and Brady Thomas Zabawar. She was the companion of Scott M. Hough; sister of Tina M. Martin and Jason M. Bouchard; step-sister of Jennifer, Beth, and William Dowding, Jr.; niece of John “Jack” Madden, and the late Kathleen M. Gallagher and Daniel T. Madden.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
