Angela Marie Trimmel, 84, of Warwick, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert P. Trimmel and the former wife of the late William J. Toohey.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Assunta (DiDino) LaNinfa. Angela was employed as an Office Worker at the former Winde-McCormick Co. in Warwick for 25 years until retiring years ago. She was a volunteer at Gentiva Hospice and a Communicant of SS Rose and Clement Parish. Angela was an avid reader and traveler. She was also a talented artist and most enjoyed family gatherings.
Angela is survived by her beloved children: Jeanette Toohey of Jacksonville, FL, Virginia Jordan of Manchester, NH, David Toohey (Elizabeth) of Warwick, Susan M. Toohey Kaye (William) of North Scituate and Stephen Toohey (Frank Figueira) of New Bedford; a sister: Eleanor Valliere of Estero, FL; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. in SS Rose and Clement Parish, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Private burial will take place in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.
