Anne M. (Stroessner) McDonald, age 79, of Warwick, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Kent County Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. McDonald.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Vincent C. and Cecelia A. (Tierney) Stroessner, she lived in Warwick since 1973. Mrs. McDonald was an account manager at K & M Associates in Providence for 20 years, retiring 15 years ago. She was an active member of Ss. Rose and Clement Parish in Warwick.

She is survived by a daughter, Joanne G. Muto and her husband, William of Warwick; a son, Thomas J. McDonald, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly of Grove City, Ohio; a sister, Clare Brissette of Warwick; two brothers, Walter Stroessner of Parker, CO and Paul Stroessner of Deltona, FL; and two grandchildren, Michaela Muto and Alexander Muto. She was the sister of the late Vincent C. Stroessner, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, February 13, in Ss. Rose and Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. A committal service followed in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
