Arthur Boothman Jr., to his parents and his many nieces and nephews “Bud,” died peacefully comforted by his family on April 11th at age 79.

A longtime resident of Warwick, he was a retired Teamster Local 251, a Marine Corps veteran, and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW 183, Warwick Elks 2196, Pawtuxet Athletic Club, Little Rhody Boat Club, Oakland Beach Fireman’s Association, CFOPA, Warwick Sportsmen, NRA and Old Bastard’s Club.

Arthur was born of a heritage of British inventors and Canadian Blackfoot. He was the son of the late Arthur Boothman, Sr. and Faye (Goodwin) Boothman and the brother of the late Sharon (Boothman) Silva and Beverly (Boothman) Harrington. He enjoyed hard work, skydiving, scuba diving, target shooting, fishing in waters near and far, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family. As the gates of heaven open, he will stomp his way in with the cry of “Fee Fi Fo Fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman!”

He is survived by Tracy Boothman and Alex Caracuzzo of Barrington, RI and Nicole Boothman-Shepard and Thomas Shepard of St. Thomas, VI; three grandchildren, Colby Boothman-Shepard, Quentin James Boothman, and Gianna Boothman; and many loving nieces and nephews.
