Mia Russo earns honors
Mia K. Russo, an Education Studies major, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at Saint Anselm College, Manchester. Russo, a resident of Warwick, is a member of the class of 2014. To be eligible for this honor, a student must compile a grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Curry College announces dean's list
Three area residents have been named to the dean's list at Curry College for the fall semester. Earning honors are James Carroll and Kaycee Wood of Warwick and Patrick Mellor of East Greenwich.

Kelsey Damrad on dean's list
Kelsey Damrad, a resident of East Greenwich, was named to the Dean's List at the State University of New York at New Paltz for the fall 2011 semester. Damrad's major is Journalism.

Caron earns Marquette honors
Elizabeth Caron of East Greenwich has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2011 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Caron is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations.

Residents earn PC honors
The following Warwick residents have been named to the dean's list at Providence College for the fall 2011 semester: Patricia Clancy, class of 2013; Shannon Hyle, class of 2012; Sara Melucci, class of 2014; Alexandra Miga, class of 2013; Justine Mullen, class of 2013; Nathan Ricci, class of 2012; Sarah Corley, class of 2015; Sarah Cote, class of 2014; Michael Englert, class of 2013; Leah Furney, class of 2014; Michael Curran, class of 2013; and Kelly Harrop, class of 2014.
The following East Greenwich residents have also been named to the PC dean's list: Marc Capuano, class of 2012; Gregory Duffy, class of 2015; Kelly Lamoreaux, class of 2013; Colleen O'Brien, class of 2013; and Meghan White, class 2014. To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.

Courtney Rose earns honors
Among the students on Cazenovia College's fall 2011 dean's list is Courtney A. Rose, of Warwick, a senior working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications.

Residents graduate from Springfield College
The following local residents have earned degrees from Springfield College (Mass.) for studies completed in 2011: Jeffrey Bennett, Bachelor of Science degree in Movement and Sports Studies and Adam Perri, Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. Jason Hurtubise, Master of Education degree in Psychology.

Elizabeth Warburton earns degree
Elizabeth D. Warburton of Warwick received a MS degree in Historic Preservation within the Graduate College during the 208th Commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont, held in December.
The university conferred degrees on an estimated 394 graduates, including 324 bachelor's, 57 master's and post-baccalaureate certificate, and 13 doctoral degree recipients.

Gabrielle DeSisto on dean’s list
Gabrielle DeSisto of Warwick has been named to the fall 2011 dean's list at American International College in Springfield, Mass. DeSisto was one of more than 450 AIC students recognized for their academic achievements. DeSisto is a freshman majoring in Criminal Justice.

On PC dean’s list
The following Warwick residents have been named to the dean's list at Providence College's School of Continuing Education for the fall 2011 semester: Patrick Atwood, a member of the class of 2014; Marjorie Drew, a member of the class of 2014; and Jonathan George, a member of the class of 2014.

Warwick students earn Dean College honors
Two Warwick students are listed on the dean's list for the 2011 fall semester at Dean College in Franklin, Mass. Earning honors are Megan Dutra, who is a Dance Bachelor degree major and a member of Honors Program, and Jamie Rathbun, who is a Dance Bachelor degree major.

Local students named to Rivier dean’s list
Warwick residents Aimee Bishop, Violette Tanguay and Lauren Saccoccio were recently named to the fall 2011 Dean’s List at Rivier College in Nashua, N.H.

Rolin performs in student composers concert
Matthew Rolin, a junior at Connecticut College, performed in the "Charles Shackford Memorial Student Composers Concert," Dec. 9 in the Cummings Arts Center. The concert featured original pieces by Connecticut College music students and was directed by music professor Arthur Kreiger.
Rolin composed and performed a piece titled "A Sound Procession." Rolin, a 2013 graduate of Toll Gate High School, is the son of Thomas Rolin and Julie Merolla of Warwick.
