“The men and women of the Johnston Police Department truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture,” Major Joseph Razza said last Friday morning inside The Bridge at Cherry Hill. “The JPD is committed to serving our community and look forward to fostering these partnerships within our community.”
Statements like that were commonplace for inside of two hours last Friday morning during The Bridge at Cherry Hill’s First Responders Breakfast.
Meanwhile, everyone from Executive Director Maryann Grace to Ann Marie Cardillo to Executive Chef Martin Carter issued personal “Thank Yous” during the event what was coordinated and hosted by Jennifer Burns, The Bridge’s sales/marketing director.
“We really appreciate all you do for us,” Grace told JPD officers who enjoyed scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, fruit salad, pastry and coffee during the event. “You are all special people to us here at The Bridge at Cherry Hill.”
Razza, meanwhile, explained that “being a first responder in this day and age is not always easy and it’s nice to be recognized. We have a wonderful working relationship with the management and staff at the Bridge at Cherry Hill, as they continue to take part in and support our weekly ‘Walk with Cops’ program that takes place throughout the late spring and summer.”
Captain Mark Vieira added, “The JPD greatly appreciates this great breakfast; it’s also a great way for us to connect with the community we proudly serve.”
