To the Editor:
Attention taxpayers:
Ward 5 Councilman Ed Ladouceur wants all of us taxpayers to contribute/pay large sums of money for sewers in his ward. For these past years, he has preyed on other areas in Warwick, demanding everything possible to pay outrageous costs to affected homeowners, especially those of us living in Governor Francis Farms. Bullying isn’t a strong enough word to describe his repeated actions.
The answer from Mayor Avedisian and the rest of us must be a resounding “no thank you.” Mr. Ladouceur should not be allowed to use his exalted position as head of the Sewer Review Commission, which he founded, to produce votes for his re-elections. His unearned title as “King of Sewers” is too much to swallow.

Councilman Ed Ladouceur knows that i don't always agree with him but when I do disagree I try to be as respectful as possible. He has always (over 25 years now) extended me that same respect.
What I read in the article above from Gene Nadeau is extremely insulting to one of the hardest working elected officials Warwick has. In my opinion Gene is the one being the "bully".
And yes Gene, he (Ladouceur) SHOULD use the time he devoted to the Sewer Review Commission to help his re-election. No one paid him for the hundreds of hours he spent on it. Voters notice dedication like that and they should. So cut out the name calling Gene, and "do your job" on the School Committee. You know, the one you're actually being paid for.
Happy Summer Ed.
Happy Summer everyone.
