To the Editor:
I can sympathize with the expense of a new sewer system.
Sewers were installed in the Brookwood area in 1987-88.
Because of a previous bond issue, we were charged the lower rate per linear feet. The streets were repaired at city cost.
The assessment fee (bill) finally arrived November 1994.
We are now on our second pumping station and recently a gas line was installed taking place of a loud generator used during power loss.
Now, after 30 years our streets are cracked in many places. Growing in the cracks are grass and weeds, not to mention potholes.
