Getting out the word to celebrate the neighborhood and “Shop Small” starting Black Friday through Cyber Monday, the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commence, with the help of American Express, distributed 99 shopping bags filled with promotional materials to its members this week. “From family-run corner stores to food trucks to online boutiques, small businesses are an important part of our lives and our business. When they succeed, we all do. This year, we want to help them connect with more customers like you in their community,” the chamber said in an email to its members. Preparing bags for distribution is Sarah Stoves, administrative assistant. (Warwick Beacon photo)
