Warwick Public Library director, Chris La Roux, announced this week that the Champlin Foundations have approved a grant request for $78,000 to carpet the children’s room. The entire children’s room has been renovated over the past five years, except for the carpet. This will complete the project. The Champlin Foundations has paid for most of the upgrades, including furniture, shelving, and technology. La Roux said, “We are very appreciative of the continued support of the Champlin Foundations in assisting the Warwick Public Library with fulfilling its mission. This is a gift to the Warwick taxpayers and library users.”
