Constance Alice (Manion) Parker

Constance Alice (Manion) Parker of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on January 22, 2018 in Fairfax after a long illness.

She was born in Cranston, RI in 1933 to John and Alice Manion and lived most of her adult life on Long Island. Connie was a graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, class of 1954. Upon graduation, Connie worked in the Library of Congress and, after raising her children, was employed by Cablevision on Long Island. She enjoyed playing the piano, was an active member of the Episcopal Church Women and was modest about her ability to finish the NYTs crossword puzzle in record time.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Arthur Parker, and son Jeffrey Parker. She is survived by her daughter Julia Parker (Michael Oliveras) of Boston, MA and her son Doug Parker (Taeko Parker) of Burke, VA and her grandchildren Lloyd and Clare Hall and Lana and Sebastian Parker.

A private memorial service will be held at St. Margaret's Church in Plainview, NY.
