Courtney, Krikorian named VPs at Centreville Bank

Centreville Bank President and COO Harold M. Horvat has announced that Sarah Courtney and Violet Krikorian have joined Centreville Bank as vice president, information technology, and vice president, regional sales manager, respectively. 

In her new position, Courtney is responsible for maintaining and expanding the Bank’s computer networks including managing the WAN, LAN, SAN and EDI computer platforms and developing IT growth plans. She is also responsible for managing the IT staff. 

Courtney comes to Centreville with some 16 years’ experience in information technology focused in banking. Most recently, she was senior vice president, information services, for Coastway Community Bank. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English-Communications from Salve Regina University, Newport, holds a certificate in Networking from the Community College of RI, Warwick and is currently working toward her MBA from New England College of Business, Boston, MA. She resides in West Greenwich.

As vice president, regional sales manager, Krikorian is responsible for building and managing the mortgage loan origination team, cultivating new business, and increasing profitability for the residential lending division, while improving the bank’s visibility.

Krikorian’s experience in the financial services industry spans over 30 years focused in residential lending most recently serving as first vice president, regional sales manager, at Coastway Community Bank.  She earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Business Administration and another in Russian from the University of Rhode Island. Krikorian, who currently resides in Cranston, is fluent in Armenian and Russian.
