An estimated 3,000 people turned out for the St. Gregory the Great Festival held this past weekend at the church grounds in Cowesett. Parishioner Bob Medeiros chaired the event, where 800 volunteers pitched in to help raise an estimated $30,000 to $40,000 (the count hadn’t been finalized Monday). Rockwell Amusements provided the rides and the games. Parishioners ran the food court and the giant flea market in the church basement.
