DeAnna “Dee” Elizabeth Grindle-Lowery

In loving memory of DeAnna “Dee” Elizabeth Grindle-Lowery, 34, who passed away unexpectedly October 15, 2018, at Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA.

Dee was born March 10, 1984, in Warwick, RI, the daughter of Tammy F. (Dascoli) Clukey and John A. Grindle. Dee grew up in Orland, Bucksport, and Veazie, Maine; she graduated from John Baptist Memorial High School in 2002. While at school DeAnna was a cheerleader, manager of the basketball team, played in the band, the chamber ensemble, the jazz band, and excelled in Latin. DeAnna loved music and was a talented, accomplished flutist who played at many weddings and gatherings, at church and at home during the holidays. Often times DeAnna would practice for many hours much to the enjoyment of her family. Her most important role and joy in life was being a Mom, she loved her two daughters dearly. DeAnna touched many lives with her kind heart. She had an enormous smile that would light up any room.

DeAnna is survived by her two daughters, Karlee Rambo and Mia Grindle both of Conyers, GA; her mother and step-father Tammy and Robert Clukey of Conyers, GA; her father and step-mother John and Andrea Grindle of Stockton Springs, ME; her grandparents Walter and Muriel Dascoli of Conyers, GA; her step-siblings David Grindle of Bangor, ME, James Clukey of Portland, ME, and Allie Clukey of Kings Bay, GA; her uncle and aunt, Royce and Kathryn Grindle of Bucksport, ME; and her very best, longtime friend Lara Pardy Graves of Bangor, ME; and the many special friends she made along the way in her journey. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. DeAnna was predeceased by, her grandparents Royce and Marlene Grindle of Prospect, ME; her former husband, William M. Lowery; her dog Princess and cats Rocky, Bailey, and Leo.

A Memorial Mass will be held, Saturday November 10, 2018 at 2 p.m, at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church 3200 Brooks Drive, Snellville, GA 30078.
